We’ve already been in the thick of the season for a few months, but some plans simply never lose their spark. #BuenasTardesPulitzer continues to set the rhythm for our terrace at Hotel Pulitzer Barcelona, solidifying its place once again as the essential meeting point where the music of local DJs, Mediterranean-Oriental inspired gastronomy, and tardeo blend together naturally.
This year’s concept stems from a very recognizable idea: there are plans that get stuck in your head and just won't leave you alone. It’s that persistent feeling that, even from the morning, your mind is already on the terrace.
With Buenas Tardes Pulitzer, we bring this into the realm of terrace culture: the feeling that this plan occupies everything, even when you are in the middle of your daily routine. It’s not just that you want to come; it’s that terrace culture appears everywhere you look.
Behind this concept is Judit A. Martí, a freelance illustrator and graphic artist based in Barcelona, whose work captivated us from the very first moment. Her way of understanding spaces and objects has been key to building the visual universe for this season of Buenas Tardes Pulitzer.
Her work is characterized by a conceptual approach, with special attention paid to spaces and objects as central elements. Through this exploration, she creates visual universes that offer a new perspective on the everyday, a gaze that fits naturally with the spirit of BTP.
In this year's illustrations, this approach translates into everyday scenes transformed through changes in scale and nearly surreal compositions, where elements typical of tardeo burst into the routine and alter the expected.
The idea is simple: when #BuenasTardesPulitzer arrives, everything else fades into the background.
At Hotel Pulitzer Barcelona, we continue to bet on working with local talent and giving space to the city's creative scene, in line with our commitment as a B Corp company.
Buenas Tardes Pulitzer is not just a summer program. It is also a way of collaborating with local artists, illustrators, and musicians, and of building a narrative that is born in Barcelona and stays in Barcelona.
Sunsets, food to share, cocktails, and DJ sets that accompany the end of the day.
Come experience it with us and let the terrace vibe do its thing: show up, stick around, and change the rhythm of your day.
