Ferran Palau is undoubtedly one of the most distinctive and moving voices in the Catalan music scene. His style—self-described as metaphysical pop—is marked by minimalism, dreamy atmospheres, and emotionally rich lyrics. Influenced by David Lynch’s cinematic mystery, the tones of Napoleon Dynamite, and skate culture aesthetics, he has crafted a unique sonic universe. Albums like Santa Ferida (2015), Blanc (2018), and Kevin (2020) have refined his musical language, establishing him as a key figure in contemporary Catalan pop. Blanc was hailed by critics as one of the year’s best, and with Plora Aquí (2024), he ventures further into visual and narrative experimentation with a fantasy world inhabited by imaginary creatures.

KLs Beats is the mind behind Ababol Party and a fixture of Barcelona’s nightlife for over a decade. Born in Galicia and shaped by time spent in the U.S. and Zaragoza, he began as a live percussionist before fully embracing DJ culture.
His sets span footwork, juke, UK bass and breakbeat, while honoring the roots of electro, dark wave, house, and disco. With his Beats on Wheels project—a bike-powered mobile DJ booth—he brings music into the streets, keeping vinyl culture alive at events like Flea Market Barcelona and beyond.
