Tourmaline is a Barcelona-based DJ duo formed by sisters Gemma (Gems) and Roser (Rous), both passionate about electronic music. Roser has been DJing for years and studied video, DJ and sound in 2016, while Gemma began mixing during the lockdown despite always being closely connected to music. They started playing at private parties and made their official debut in 2022 at Asociación Dr. Dou, later becoming residents at the Radisson Hotel Barcelona and performing at venues such as Switch Pocket Club, Sala Taro, Hotel Pulitzer, Rouge, Femnoise events in Poblenou, Eat Street Festival with AMEBA, and Poblenou Open Night. Their sets blend house, afro and funky grooves with deeper sounds like deep, acid and minimal.
