Explore fresh ideas at the MOCO, the new Museum of Modern Art.

Uncover the hidden galleries in l’Eixample.

And fall in love with the modernist architecture of Passeig de Gracia.

Of dramas and dreams

Put on your evening dress and enjoy a ten-minute walk down la Rambla. Then take your seat at Barcelona’s world-famous opera house El Gran Teatre del Liceu. Visiting in the summer? Take a taxi to the open-air Teatre Grec amphitheatre, nestled between Montjuic’s luscious gardens.

Start with the big-name clothing chains around Rambla Catalunya, then work your way along Paseo de Gracia’s boutique shops and exclusive fashion brands. Or explore new trends and local designers in the El Born neighbourhood.

Of feasts and flavours

Fancy some innovative Mediterranean cuisine? Head around the corner to Dos Pebrots, or walk down la Rambla and over Viaplana & Piñón’s Rambla del Mar bridge for a marina view at FiskeBar. Or just stroll through the scents and flavours of La Boqueria Market.

Of salt and sand

Pack a towel, grab your sunglasses and take a walk to Platja de Barceloneta.

Soak up the sunrise, swim off the midday heat, or rent a stand-up paddleboard and watch the sunset from the sea.
