The Greenhouse could be an actual greenhouse with a terrace in the midst of the city, but in fact this is the name of our new restaurant at the Pulitzer: a plant-filled oasis of calm right in the heart of Barcelona. It is a bright Mediterranean-style space serving a lunch menu and evening meals with just the right degree of sophistication and an idyllic atmosphere.

The food on offer at The Greenhouse gives centre stage to seasonal vegetables, locally sourced meat, fish brought daily from the fish market and 100% home-made desserts.

The dishes are prepared using fresh and healthy ingredients from the land, including heirloom vegetable varieties that bring back the flavours of the past.

In the middle of the day The Greenhouse offers an appealing menu that is perfect for working lunches or meeting up with friends. It includes four choices of starter, main course and dessert and the menu changes each week depending on market ingredients. In the evening the lights are dimmed inside and on the terrace to create a warm and welcoming ambience. The dinner menu offers the option of à la carte dishes and a thoughtfully prepared tasting menu that is designed mainly around kitchen-garden produce.

The raw materials are sourced from carefully selected local suppliers who stand out for the exceptional quality of their work and for their painstaking production processes.

The meticulously chosen range of wines also stands out, many of which are organic and come from small wineries where grapes are grown and wine produced in the traditional way.

Our chef Damien Bolger, who is originally from Australia, is heading up The Greenhouse project with a desire to surprise us all with his colourful creations bursting with flavour. It is not for nothing that he has trained in several different countries and Michelin-starred restaurants, which have left their mark on the food that he prepares. The combinations of flavours are one of the most outstanding characteristics of his cooking and we are sure that a meal at The Greenhouse will turn into a great experience that you will be delighted to have enjoyed.

LUNCH menu: From 13:00h to 16:00h - Monday to Friday. 18,50 €

Menu week of 11th December

DINNER: From 19.30 to 23.30 Tuesday-Saturday.
